Boil Water Advisory - Indian Creek area of Pound
August 08, 2022
The Wise County PSA has experienced a major waterline break in the Indian Creek area of Pound. Maintenance staff is currently working to restore service as soon as possible. A boil water advisory is now in effect until further notice for those customers in the Indian Creek and US23 areas of Pound including: Old Indian Creek Road, Indian Creek Road, Curtiss Hill, Killen Hollow, Almond Road, Laurel Ridge, Viking Road, and the US23 from the Indian Creek Road intersection to the Traveler’s Motel . Customers should not drink tap water without bringing water to a rolling boil for at least a minute and letting it cool before drinking. Bottled water is recommended for drinking as well during this advisory.
