The Wise County PSA has experienced a waterline break on Guest River Road north of Union Hall. Out of an abundance of caution, a boil water advisory is now in effect until further notice for those customers located along Guest River Road north of Union Hall Rd, Rocky Fork, Day Town Rd, Wampler Hollow Rd, Powell River, Needmore, Thackers Branch, Blackwood, Dunbar, Kent Junction Road, Moneyhun Road, and surrounding areas. Customers should not drink tap water without bringing water to a rolling boil for at least a minute and letting it cool before drinking.

In an effort to assist in compliance with the EPA's Lead & Copper Rule Revision, the PSA is requesting your assistance in completing the following survey to tell us what material the service line is on the customer side of the meter. The EPA is requiring all utilities to create an inventory of utility-owned and customer-owned service lines by October 2024.
